Open Class Exhibits 2007

Benton County Fair           July 31 - August 5, 2007


Department 30: Fruit

Entry Day: July 31, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Release time: August 5 per release schedule on rules page.

Not responsible for stolen articles.

Judges decisions are final.

  1. All articles must remain in place until 5:00 p.m. on August 5
  2. All articles must be entered in the name of the grower.
  3. Any exhibitor may be requested by the superintendent to certify that the articles exhibited were grown by him and upon failure to do so, or for certifying falsely, shall be barred from competition.
  4. All of the apples and pears - four specimens to constitute plate; not more, not less. Plums, crabs and cherries - ten specimens to constitute a plate. Grapes - five bunches. Raspberries and strawberries - 1 pint each to constitute a plate.

Premium for Classes A, B, D, E, and F: 1st - $2.00, 2nd - $1.25, 3rd - $1.00

Premium for Class C: 1st - $2.00, 2nd - $1.75, 3rd - $1.50

Champion Ribbons may be given in each class.

Department 31: Junior Division Fruit

Junior Division is for persons 16 years and younger. Classes and lots are the same as Department 30: Fruit.
