Get Involved

109th Annual Free Fair
August 2-7, 2022

Get Involved

A lot goes into the fair. Lots of volunteers, lots of vendors, lots of attendees, lots of food, lots of animals, lots of exhibits, lots of cleaning, lots of electricity, lots of meetings, and lots of time.

Band Performances in the Afternoon

We are always looking for bands that would like to play on the Beer Garden Stage during the afternoon. Bands would need to provide their own sound. There would be minimal pay unless the band finds a sponsor for their concert.

If your band would like to perform in the afternoon, please contact the fair office.

Nonprofits Can Earn Money

Would your community group, church, or team like to earn some extra money? There are plenty of tasks to be performed during the fair. Current examples

  • youth groups are parking lot attendants
  • a church group sells tickets for the Midway and grandstand events
  • a local organization sweeps the fairgrounds and empties trash bins each morning
  • a group manages the grandstand gates
  • another group staffs the pull-tab booths

If your organization would like to get involved, please contact the fair office.

Volunteer

Before, during or after the fair we are always looking for volunteers. There is always something for everyone; indoor or outdoor. Things like painting, planting, cleaning, placing tables and trash bins. Have a couple extra hours, let us know what you can help with!
